The TBOLF Ushering department is made up of volunteers who are convinced about the need to render selfless service to God. Every member of this Ministry considers it as a privilege working and serving in the vineyard of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is, of course, our strength. Psalm 84:10 “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.”

As Church Ushers, we are responsible for receiving worshippers and ensuring the pre- and post-church service seating arrangements are orderly.

Primarily, our duties have gone beyond the tradition of collecting offerings or finding seat for people during church services, we serve as the frontiers for the church i.e. we are the first contact for first-timers

We provide information about the church to our visitors. We facilitate smooth communication between the congregation members and church leaders.

Furthermore, it is our duty as ushers to maintain conducive, peaceful and orderly atmosphere that would enable the congregation to enjoy every church services and programme without distractions.

As ushers we are expected to have a genuine relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our earnest desire and prayer is to labour, work for the Lord and remain faithful to Him till the end.

Jesus is Lord.
